Golf Clubs Custom fit for Better Golf

One advantage is buying your first set of clubs from a golf pro shop is the availability of a trained golf club fitting sales person. Men and Women do have different variances in their club length based on their height and wrist to floor measurements. Some people do have extraordinary long arms and therefore this factor needs to be taken into account when selecting the proper clubs and woods.

There is a standard length for both men and women. A majority of golfers do fit in a standard size. There may be a slight differences between brands which should be kept in mind. The golf buyer can access a "custom fitting wizard on-line" or be measured in the your local golf shop. The key measurements are your height, the length measured from your wrist to the floor and your average golf swing speed. The other factors that are considered are your age, what club you use at 150 yards and your handicap or skill level.

If you are short with very long arms or tall with short arms you may need to consider custom made golf clubs. The length of the club is measured from the top of the grip to the point where the club reaches the floor. The length is taken from the back end of the club while the individual is standing erect in first position. The longer length club generally provides a longer shot, but you may sacrifice on accuracy at the beginning.

Graphite drivers are lighter in weight than steel drivers. The graphite driver is generally one inch longer than steel drivers. The graphite clubs and driver can be longer due to their weight without sacrificing accuracy. The graphite and steel club and drivers are available for men and women. The golf shop at your local golf course has a variety of brands available. Some pro golf shops offer referrals to people that make custom golf clubs

The Swingyde is great!
By Elaine Hazelrigg "golf fanatic" (Albuquerque, NM USA)
I purchased the Swingyde to help me with the wrist hinge in my golf swing.
I wasn't sure I was doing it correctly and wanted some instant feedback.
The device is wonderful. I use it to practice and in my warm up before a round.
My iron striking has improved dramatically.

Medicus Dual Combo Pack Driver + 5 iron + 2 DVDs

* Medicus Golf Learning System is dedicated to assisting golfers of all ages. "Master the Basics" of golf through a consistent process of education, training and practice.

Actual Customer Feedback

** I have used one before and I think it really helps with tempo, especially the transfer at the top of your swing. It will definately help your swing, if you have a traditional type swing. If you tend to swing a little flat, you will have trouble with the Medicus. It "forces" you to swing upright and on a single plane.

** I own the Medicus, both the driver and the 5 iron. I love them both. It is great tool for rhythm and tempo of the swing. They also keep your swing on a single plane.

** I am a PGA teaching Professional. I encourage my students to get the Medicus and practice with it. I use it at the driving range for the first ten minutes or so to get my muscles loose and get my swing on line.
